Just after dinner, units were alerted for a reported house fire at 4457 C. St. SE. Engine 30 and Truck 17 arrived on the scene of a 2 story brick duplex with fire showing from the first floor. Engine 30 quickly stretched the 1 ½” preconnect to the home as the Truck threw multiple ladders and conducted a rapid primary search. The Engine made short work of the fire and all searches proved negative. Units operated for over an hour assisting investigators before returning to service.
